1. What Vanel is

Vanel is a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux. It gives you a team of AI agents that you lead through a single Leader. The agents run on your own computer and use the AI account you connect, such as Claude, ChatGPT/Codex or OpenCode.

This website is where you create an account, choose a plan, pay, and download the app. The desktop app also talks to this website to check for updates, to check your license, and to send the anonymous statistics and problem reports described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

You need an account to download Vanel and to buy a plan. Give us a real email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, to use Vanel.

3. Your AI provider

Vanel does not sell AI usage. To use Vanel you need your own account with a supported AI provider. You sign in with that provider directly; we never see your provider password.

Your use of the provider is governed by the provider’s own terms, and the provider bills you directly for your plan or usage. We are not responsible for the provider’s service, its availability, its limits or its charges.

4. Agents act on your computer

Vanel’s agents work on your machine: they can create and change files in your project folders, run programs, install packages and use a built-in browser. This is what lets them do real work for you.

Vanel is designed to stop before critical actions, such as payments, sending messages to other people, publishing, deleting things outside your project, or creating accounts, and to ask for your approval or hand control to you. You are responsible for reviewing and approving these actions, and for what you ask your team to do.

AI can make mistakes. Check important results before you rely on them, and keep backups of anything valuable. Saved versions help you go back, but they are not a replacement for your own backups.

5. Plans, payments and renewals

Vanel offers a Free plan, a Pro subscription billed monthly or yearly, and a one-time Lifetime license while available. Current prices and what each plan includes are shown on our pricing page.

Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record: Polar charges you, handles sales tax or VAT, and issues your invoices.

Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account page; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. If we change the price of Pro, we will tell you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next renewal.

6. Licenses

When you buy Pro or Lifetime you receive a license key. The key is for your personal or internal business use and may not be shared, resold or published.

Each key can be active on a limited number of computers. A Lifetime license can be used on up to 3 computers. You can free up a computer from your account page.

A Lifetime license includes the features of Pro available at the time of purchase, and updates to those features. It does not include future features that require us to pay for ongoing cloud services, which may be offered separately.

Lifetime licenses are limited to the first 300 sold.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Vanel to break the law, to harm others, to send spam, to access systems or accounts you are not allowed to access, or to break the terms of the services your agents use on your behalf. Do not try to get around license checks or resell the app.

8. Your content

What you and your team create is yours. Your projects, your team’s memory and your vault are stored on your computer. We do not claim any ownership of your content, and we do not receive it unless you choose to include it in a problem report.

9. Updates

The desktop app checks this website for updates and may download and install them to keep you secure and up to date. Features may change over time; if we remove a major paid feature, we will try to tell you in advance.

10. Disclaimers and liability

Vanel is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be error-free or that results produced by AI will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Vanel and delete your account at any time by writing to us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without cause, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid subscription.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction to be confirmed].
